I'm fundraising for Ronald McDonald House!

Our Beautiful 13 week old Amelie was taken from us. She suffered from a rare Restrictive Cardiomyopathy. By the time it was discovered her poor wee heart was too damaged to be saved and she passed.

The care and support shown to us by the staff at Ronald McDonald House Auckland was unbelievable. They supplied us with accommodation, food and taxi fare so we could be at Amelie's side the whole time. We did not have to worry about anything but Amelie and her comfort. We had to travel from Christchurch and support like this cannot go unmentioned. We are so fortunate to have a charity such as RMHC in New Zealand to support us and families like ours.

We want to make a difference for other families by raising much-needed funds.

What a milestone to reach in such a short period of time. 

We could never have imagined we would surpass the $10,000 mark. It is a true testament to you, our friends and family, and how much you care. For that we are truly grateful and we know RMHC are also. 
In fact we had the CE himself call to thank us for the fundraiser and the generosity of everyone who donated. 
We initially thought it would only reach a couple of thousand dollars if we were lucky. But look how wrong we are. 

The generosity has been impressive to say the least.
It gives us a little bit of purpose going on everyday and checking the total, reading the names of the donors and messages attached. So thank you for that little joy. It also helps keep Amelie's spirit alive with everyone.

It has not even been 48hrs since we started the page in Memory of Amelie and I can believe we are up to $7738!
What an incredible figure to reach in such a short period of time. Congratulations everyone!

It brings Kelly and I to tears seeing all the beautiful messages of support and the generous donations offered. We did not expect the response to be so great or at such pace. It really is an extraordinary effort from everyone and makes us feel so loved. 
The simple task of logging in and reading the messages brings some joy and a sense of achievement in a very difficult time for us, so thank you for being amazing. 

To all those people that have donated or left messages we will try to thank individually but there is a large number to get through so please forgive our tardiness. Thank you so much for everything.
