Help us, help New Zealnders

Imagine this:

You have a child who is unwell and requires medical attention. Naturally as a parent you never want to leave their side but with doing so comes a lot of stress:

  • Where will I stay?
  • How long will I be gone for?
  • Can I get the time off work?
  • What do I do with my other children? Do they still go to school?
  • Do my partner and I take turns staying at the hospital so all children get to see us?
  • Who will feed my pets while I'm gone?
  • How will I get there?
  • I have to be strong, but what about my mental health?

Unfortunately for thousands of New Zealand families, including some of our own, this is or has been their reality

Ronald McDonald house has helped families in more ways than one. Their amazing efforts are what is keeping our families together during this stressful time.

Team Kokiri here at StudyLink are strong believers of helping families in their time of need.

Doing this is just a small way that we can give back to the community and ease the burden for some families that rely on Ronald McDonald

Our distance goal is 9,069.2km

This goal may be a funny number however to us this is a number that is important to us.

This number is the total amount of KMs that our fellow colleagues have travelled to use the facilities of the Ronald McDonald House. This is our way of showing support to them and also to every other family who has been in their position.

Sharon Kenyon

On behalf of Maddi and our family - we donate. Thinking of the beautiful babies we met and lost during our time in RMH Wellington - 6 years ago now. Good Luck Team :)
