I've created this page because I want to make a difference.

Every year, thousands of families from around New Zealand will turn to a Ronald McDonald House for free accommodation and support during their child's medical treatment.

My family stayed at Ronald McDonald House Auckland for 6 weeks in 2015, when our Heart  Kid was born.  We stayed before the birth, and after during her operation and recovery. 

 We were amazed and humbled by the support, goods, meals and help we had access to.  We stayed there for 6 weeks.  

Please, if you can, support Ronald McDonald house by sponsoring me, in my goal to complete 210kms of exercise in the month of March. 

Those of you who know me, will know that this will challenge me, exercise is not my forte (being lazy is), but I have seen this challenge come and go over the last couple of years, and this is the year I will complete the challenge and raise money for a very worthy cause. 

I have always thought of Ronald McDonald house as the best place to be at the worse time.  It was an incredibly difficult time for my family, and we could not have done it without the support from family, and the roof over our head provided at no cost from Ronald McDonald house.
