My Activity Tracking

My target 210 kms

I've created this page because I want to make a difference.

We are forever grateful for the support we have received, and continue to receive from Ronald McDonald House. Having spent 160+ days in RMH in Wellington we cant say enough about just how much they have done to look after our family in very trying times.

When you support RMH you are supporting families like ours that are away from home with children in hospital.  We are forever in debt to them and this is my way to raise not only money for this amazing charity :)

My Updates

Week 3 done & dusted

Tuesday 23rd Mar
3 weeks down and 10 days left to clock up just over 60km! More donations from generous human beings this last week which really spurred me on when I wasn't feeling like getting on the bike. Having Evie home after 6 weeks away has me focused on finishing the job in style!  Just $45 short of $8000 raised! I have the best support crew :)

Week 2 in the books

Tuesday 16th Mar
Week 2 coincided with the busiest week of the year so I did my best to keep the km's up. After my pledge to add running into my km's if I hit my $$$ fundraising target lots of generous donors came forward and I headed out in the heat with my pup and managed 7kms along the river track. I've been limping around post run but the money raised makes it totally worth it and ill be back out turning over my short shanks on a run sometime in week 3. I've hit the halfway mark in my kms and there's still 2 weeks to raise more money so every donation is greatly appreciated!

Week 1 Tick

Friday 5th Mar
First week of the house to house challenge done and dusted. My challenge kms can only be logged Monday - Friday as I travel to Wellington each weekend to be with Evie in hospital. Another very much appreciated stay coming up at Ronald McDonald house this Saturday :)

Thank you to my Sponsors
